Foo Fighers Put on a Show Last Week In Phoenix

I have been to a lot of concerts in my time, traveled across country for a few, but I have to say that the best concert in my recent memory had to be the Foo Fighters at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale Arizona. Dave Grohl had the place rockin with excellent performance and the best audience interaction that I have ever seen. After the first few songs, he promised a long night and delivered with the concert not ending until right around midnight on a Sunday night with most people having to go to work the next day. But it did not matter because everyone left talking about the best concert they had been to in a long time. There was a catwalk that lead from the stage to the middle of the arena that Dave used numerous times. Then about half way through the set a second stage descending from the ceiling at the end of the catwalk that was maybe 25 feet in diameter if that, complete with drums and keyboards. The Entire band walked down the catwalk and gave the people in what Dave called the cheap seats a close and very intimate view of the band. Everyone got to do a solo, including the "triangle guy". And if you have not heard about the triangle solo, it is something to see. You may think its a joke, and we did when it was announced, but it was no joke. The guy rocked the triangle like no ones business. If you have a chance to go to a Foo Fighters concert, all I can say is highly recommended.
